Iain Webster, President
Iain has spent over 25 years in senior management roles at ICLP, British Airways and Qatar Airways. He has also worked as VP International for Points.com, and also IBS, the airline software services company. At British Airways he was responsible for developing and launching Europe’s very first airline loyalty programme. Iain’s particular area of specialism is in programme design, hence his passion for fighting loyalty program fraud.
Peter Maeder, Co-Founder and LFPA Secretary
Peter has been working in the Card Payment industry for over 30 years. In the mid 1980’s, he was headhunted to set-up and launch a VISA card center in Geneva. Later, responding to another call, he moved to Zurich, where, as First Vice President and Member of the Management Committee, he managed and grew the VISA card center of Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS Card Center). Further career moves brought him to Germany, France and back to Switzerland, where in 2007 he joined IATA (International Air Transport Association). At IATA, his focus was on Fraud Prevention and Detection, PCI DSS and acceptance of card payments in a common use environment (airports, travel agents). Since leaving IATA end of 2014, he has been working as a Consultant for, among others, Perseuss (the airlines' own fraud prevention tool).
